Shahroz Tariq's team won the Most Outstanding Project prize

In October 2017 Shahroz Tariq, a Ph.D. student in the CS Department, participated in Global Hackathon that was co-organized by Jeju Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (JCCEI) and Kookmin University in Jeju Island, South Korea. It was managed by Venture Square Korea and Hubba community Thailand.
This year’s hackathon theme was “Save the Earth for Future Generations”. The hackathon spanned over 3 days and 2 nights. There were participants from all over the world including USA, Canada, France, Lithuania, Vietnam, Malaysia, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Turkey, Kazakhstan, and South Korea.
