Prof. Rameau and colleagues have paper accepted in world-leading journal

We are proud to announce that Prof. François Rameau has, in collaboration with colleagues at Laval University (Canada) and Adobe, co-authored a paper set to appear in the prestigious IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence. The journal is among the most highly ranked in the world: all respected journal rankings place it in the top five worldwide in computer science (and related fields).
The research, entitled "A Perceptual Measure for Deep Single Image Camera and Lens Calibration", introduces a novel deep learning-based camera calibration method. Additionally, the team developed a new perceptual measure to quantify the impact of camera parameters on human perception for various tasks such as virtual object insertion and compositing.
