Graduate courses taken while a student is an undergraduate remain part of the undergraduate record. Undergraduate students who have been admitted to the Graduate School at Stony Brook may apply a maximum of six credits toward the graduate degree for courses taken with advance approval and future offer of admission to the Graduate School. These credits may not be applied to the undergraduate degree. There are no exceptions to this policy.
If you are in an Accelerated or Combined Bachelor’s/Master’s program this is not the correct form. You must use the Permission for Undergraduate Students in an Accelerated Degree Program to Enroll in Graduate Courses form for those requests.
DEADLINE: Please view the Graduate School Calendar for a list of deadlines for a given semester. Late submissions will not be accepted.
If you have any questions while filling out the form, please contact SBU Graduate School Office of Student Services at GradRecords@stonybrook.edu.
