JiHyun Jeong received her Ph.D. in Information Science from Cornell University, where she focused on Human-Computer Interaction. She also holds an MPS in Information Science from Cornell and a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Korea University. Prior to joining SUNY Korea, she was a Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University and completed a Ph.D. internship at Motional.

JiHyun Jeong's research focuses on human-AI interaction, with an emphasis on collaboration, trust, and social dynamics in decision-making. She designs and evaluates intelligent systems that support effective human-agent teamwork, often using techniques from human-computer interaction, machine learning, and behavioral science. Her recent work explores how autonomous agents can balance performance and social considerations when interacting with multiple human users in complex environments.
