The FIT programs offered at SUNY Korea are Fashion Design and Fashion Business Management—two signature curricula of the college—leading to the Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree. These two-year programs reflect FIT’s commitment to providing industry-ready graduates for the fashion industry and related businesses. Fashion Design is one of the first programs ever offered by the college; the Fashion Business Management program is the oldest and largest program of its kind in the United States, providing a comprehensive business curriculum focused on the fashion industry. Graduates of FIT’s programs at SUNY Korea are eligible to apply to the college’s bachelor’s degree programs in New York City.

The SUNY Korea campus features state-of-the-art facilities, including classrooms, libraries, research labs, a sports center, auditorium, multicultural center, dining hall, dormitories, and a guest house, among other amenities.

Upper Division Options
Fashion Design Upper Division Options

Graduates of the Fashion Design AAS program are eligible to apply for admission to the Bachelor of Fine Arts programs in Fabric Styling, Fashion Design (specializations are Children's Wear, Intimate Apparel, Knitwear, Special Occasion, and Sportswear), Footwear and Accessories Design, Textile/Surface Design, and Toy Design, and the Bachelor of Science programs in Production Management: Fashion and Related Industries, Technical Design, and Textile Development and Marketing.

Fashion Business Management Upper Division Options

Graduates of the Fashion Business Management AAS program are eligible to apply to Home Products Development, International Trade and Marketing for the Fashion Industries, Production Management: Fashion and Related Industries, and Textile Development and Marketing. By completing certain additional course requirements, graduates may also apply to the Bachelor of Science programs in Advertising and Marketing Communications and Technical Design.
