The Intensive English Center (IEC) tuition fee is USD 4,950 per session (semester).

Yes. For SBU Regular Admission and for all FIT Admission, an official English proficiency test score is one of the required application materials and will be considered as part of SUNY Korea's holistic admission review process.
Applicants should submit an accepted official English proficiency test score in accordance with the applicable admissions requirements.
IEC students must complete Level 114 with a grade of B or higher and satisfy all other IEC program requirements.
Students who achieve the required English proficiency score while enrolled in the IEC Program at any level — TOEFL iBT 4.0, IELTS 6.5, or Duolingo English Test 105 — must still maintain a minimum B average in their current IEC course in order to be cleared for undergraduate matriculation.

Yes. SUNY Korea SBU Applicants who have achieved CSAT English Subject Rank 1 are eligible for an English proficiency requirement waiver. To be considered, you must submit your official CSAT Results in English as part of your application. Please note that the waiver eligibility is limited to applications for semesters within the same academic year. For example, a CSAT 2027 English Subject Rank 1 will be applicable for the English proficiency requirement waiver in applications for the Spring 2027 and Fall 2027 semesters.
